SAD NEWS: Wrexham Head Coach Has Been Fired today due to…..

Ryan Reynolds is ramping up his business efforts after the Welsh football team he co-owns with Rob McElhenney, Wrexham, was promoted for the second consecutive season.

Reynolds’ inner-Wade Wilson is also never too far away, as the ‘Deadpool’ star took aim at the NFL for the sport Europeans call football being different than America’s most popular sport.

After another dominant season in the fourth tier, McElhenney and Reynolds’ team will play two levels below the Premier League.

Competing with teams at that level will take a lot of maneuvering from the co-owners to garner a third-straight promotion.

A third-consecutive promotion this high on the English football pyramid would be unprecedented.

Two Hollywood stars like Reynolds and McElhenney owning a small Welsh club is also unconventional, leading to Reynolds jab at the NFL.

They call it football here, but no one touches it with their foot. The kicker, that’s it. He’s not even part of the team!’ Reynolds said on ‘TODAY’.

‘Yes he is!’ ‘TODAY’ co-host Hoda Kotb responded.

‘He is? Oh sorry,’ Reynolds added. ‘I thought it was an alternate in a dance competition or something. Let’s see those guys tackle a 6-foot-8, 300-pound man.’

Wrexham will now be competing in the same division as teams such as Birmingham City, the club backed by former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, who were relegated from the second tier of English football this season.

To avoid falling back to League Two in 2025, Wrexham will have to finish outside the bottom-four spots in the division of the 24 squads competing.

‘Everyone’s celebrating and I have my head in my hands because it just turns into 800 emails about “Here’s what we have to do to be in League One,”‘ Reynolds said. ‘Infrastructure, all these different things.’
