The New York Yankees have been the most successful team in Major League Baseball (MLB) so far. Also called “The Bronx Bombers”, the team have been the World Series Champions a staggering 27 times. Moreover, they have also been the AL East Division Champions a staggering 20 times so far. Their home games are played at the Yankee Stadium at The Bronx, New York City, New York, United States. The 2023 MLB season turned out to be underwhelming for the New York Yankees mainly due to several injured players on the team. As such, they ranked #4 in AL East Division and gained a win-loss-draw record of 82-80-0 under manager Aaron Boone. Kyle Higashioka was their #1 batter in the season due to his 10 home runs and 34 RBIs. Similarly, Gerrit Cole was their #1 pitcher for his 209.0 innings pitched and 222 strikeouts in the season.

The present manager for the New York Yankees is Aaron John Boone, who has been in this role with the team since 2018. He is also a former baseball player and served as a third baseman for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Florida Marlins, Washington Nationals and Houston Astros between 1997 & 2009. As a player, he was an MLB All-Star in 2003. While playing for the New York Yankees, Boone was notable for his game winning walk off home run during the AL Championship Series in 2003.
