Indiana Hoosiers Forward Malik Reneau just summitted his resignation letter to the management….

A deep dive into Indiana native Langdon Hatton as he visits the Hoosiers.

Bellarmine transfer Langdon Hatton committed to Indiana today while on his official visit.

Mike Woodson and his coaching staff have strategically reshaped the roster this spring through the transfer portal, and Hatton might be the final piece to this exceptional class. With Oumar Ballo, Kanaan Carlyle, Luke Goode, and Myles Rice committed, 247Sports.com ranks the four-player class as the second-best (behind Arkansas) transfer portal haul in the country.

Hatton is a 6’10” power forward/center from Georgetown, Indiana. He played at North Harrison High School, often running into Purdue’s Trey Kaufman-Renn and Kooper Jacobi (Eastern Illinois) of Silver Creek. During Hatton’s junior and senior seasons, North Harrison lost to Silver Creek in the sectional.

Coming out of high school, Hatton received many mid-major offers. Clemson was one of the power conference teams that looked closely at Hatton but did not extend an offer. He ultimately chose William & Mary. Hatton left the Tribe after one season for Bellarmine.

As a junior this past season, Hatton averaged 10.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 0.8 blocks, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 turnovers per game. He made a noticeable jump in the 23-24 season after scoring 4.4 points per contest as a freshman and 3.5 as a sophomore.
