Sad News: Breaking” Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe Announce The Death Of His Wife And Two Kids After Plane…

As widely reported, the Belgium international is due to finalise his transfer in the next 24 to 48 hours.

A medical at Villa’s Bodymoor Heath training ground is due to take place and a long-term contract has been agreed.

Onana has been highly coveted since moving to Goodison Park for £33million from Lille in 2023. A number of clubs, including Newcastle United, have tracked the midfielder before Unaired Emery’s side made their move.

Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked.

The 22-year-old was heavily linked with Newcastle in January when there were concerns over Joelinton’s long-term future.

The Brazilian’s contract was due to expire in 2025, opening up the possibility of selling him this summer.

However, exit talk was put to bed when the 27-year-old penned a new four-year contract in April, making him of the Magpies’ highest earners.

Despite the £35million sale of Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forest on June 30, Eddie Howe still has plenty of midfield options available to him as Sandro Tonali nears his return from a 10-month ban.

But that isn’t to say Newcastle won’t look to strengthen the midfield area.

Other positions also being looked at, and viewed are a bigger priority, is centre-back and right forward.

The Magpies have shown interest in AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw, while Pedro Neto of Wolverhampton Wanderers is under consideration.

News of incomings is expected to ramp up in the next week following Paul Mitchell’s arrival as sporting director.
