I AM LEAVING FOR GOOD: Celtic coach announced departure due to team accusation of being the downfall of the team….

When it comes to selecting his team for this Saturday’s Scottish Cup final, Rangers manager Philippe Clement is facing a significant dilemma, but Brendan Rodgers of Celtic is in a very different situation.

Due to the team’s strong performance and the return to fitness of several important players, Celtic’s starting lineup is essentially set. Throughout the campaign, Rodgers has seen extended periods of absence from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, and Callum McGregor. However, all three are now fully fit and will serve as the backbone of the Celtic team when they play at Hampden.

Joe Hart is scheduled to play his final game at Hampden, where he hopes to end his career with a winning medal. The 37-year-old goalie, who missed out on a penalty kick against Aberdeen in the semifinals, will look to add another trophy to his impressive playing career. He has already declared that he will accept a penalty kick in a shootout should it get that far.

The back four for Celtic is also set. Greg Taylor will play left back, while Alistair Johnston will start at right back instead of Anthony Ralston. Liam Scales, who went from being an Aberdeen loanee to become one of Rodgers’ most dependable players, will be Carter-Vickers’ partner.

The midfield also chooses itself. McGregor will wear the captain’s cuff and, as a playmaker, probably direct play. Alongside Hatate will be the formidable Matt O’Riley, who is in excellent goal-scoring form. One of Rangers’ main challenges will be to prevent that trio from controlling the play.

The sole point of contention is in front of them. Adam Idah has done well while on loan from Norwich City, although Kyogo Furuhashi is anticipated to be the striker in the center. James Forrest should continue to start on the other wing, while fellow Japanese player Daizen Maeda, who has previously created problems for Rangers right-back James Tavernier, is expected to start wide left. At Celtic, the 32-year-old is going through something of a resurgence, and although Luis Palma is pressing for a starting role, Rodgers will probably start the Scot.
