The NBA announced its All-Rookie team for the current campaign a few days ago, and few surprises were present.
The frontcourt of the All-Rookie First Team was manned by Victor Webmanyama and Chet Holmgren, with Brandon Miller of the Charlotte Hornets, Brandin Podziemski of the Golden State Warriors, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. of the Miami Heat earning the remaining three slots.
But according to NBACentral, Miller wasn’t even on ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins’ ballot for the first or second team.

Despite the Hornets’ terrible play and 21 wins this season, Miller had a terrific debut in the NBA, scoring 17.3 points on 44.0 percent shooting from the field and 37.3 percent from three-point range.
He is regarded as having exceptional athleticism and is capable of playing any forward position.
The Hornets have some fascinating prospects going forward, despite being among the poorest teams in the NBA.
Miles Bridges provides them a frontcourt talent who has had his own off-the-court legal issues but is also a productive player. Guard LaMelo Ball is prone to injuries, but when healthy, he’s a real star.
Ball scored 23.9 points and 8.0 assists in 22 games last season, while Bridges averaged 21.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in 69 games.
