Phil Parkinson just summitted his resignation letter to the management….

A former Wrexham defender who helped the team earn promotion has recently finalized his transfer to a non-league team, months after leaving.

As they prepare for their first League One season in over twenty years, Wrexham is building.

To free up space in his squad, Phil Parkinson bid farewell to nine first-team players. While no additions have been announced, there have been connections to other players.

The highly-regarded Marc Leonard of Brighton is apparently attracting interest from the Reds, while current out-of-contract talents Stephen Humphrys and Marvin Ekpiteta have also been mentioned.

For Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds to compete with some of the better third-tier teams, like Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town, a summer of major overhauls is needed.

The majority of his appearances were in the 2021–2022 campaign, when the defender made 25 appearances and Wrexham just lost out on promotion through the play-offs.

After leaving the Racecourse Ground, McElhenney texted Hosannah ten words, and Fylde quickly hired him on a contract for a little period of time in February.

The Englishman has now finalized a long-term transfer to the team that placed 18th in the National League the previous season.

“I’m feeling very positive about the move and the upcoming season,” Hosannah wrote after taking a seat.

“The club wasn’t in the best of shape when I joined halfway through the previous season, but I quickly got settled in and started to concentrate on getting the Coasters out of the difficulties we were in.”

“I sincerely hope that I can keep getting better on a personal level. As a team, we were doing well at the end of the previous season, and I would love nothing more than to keep it going.”

The level that Bryce Hosannah has reached
Some players at the beginning of their journey will no longer be good enough for where they’re aiming to reach as they rise through the levels.

In Hosannah’s case, Parkinson occasionally used him as a dependable backup center half in the National League.

He only made two appearances in the EFL Trophy, though, after Wrexham was promoted to League Two, as players like Ben Tozer, Max Cleworth, Will Boyle, Tom O’Connor, and Eoghan O’Connell were ranked higher than him.

Now that he’s settled in, Hosannah will be used frequently for the Fylde, as manager Chris Beech calls him a “really good footballer” who gives the present team “great competition.”

After being promoted to League One, Wrexham has not yet added a new player, but Phil Parkinson will be making plans to add players in the upcoming days, weeks, and months.

This time two years ago, Wrexham was still in shock after their devastating loss in the National League Play-offs.

Phil Parkinson, who skillfully led Wrexham to consecutive promotions, is currently getting ready for life in the third tier.

This summer will see a lot of additions, and Parkinson may add another midfield player to Wrexham’s roster.

The outstanding midfield tandem of Andy Cannon, George Evans, and Elliot Lee may very well be Wrexham’s starting lineup at the beginning of the year.

Despite his expectations of having a successful League One season, Jordan Davies will require depth, and it’s uncertain exactly what kind of role he will play.
