Former Pete rose being inducted into OSU Hall of Fame

It’s no secret the Reds have had their share of struggles this season after impressing in 2023 with their young talent coming up from the minors.
The season has been so off-balance that it’s caught the attention of one of the franchise’s all-time greats, Pete Rose.
Rose was in the area on Thursday night at an event at the Western Hills Country Club, where he told Local 12 what he thinks about the current state of the Reds.
The one problem NOT listed in that letter for current Hall of Fame inductees is gambling on games of baseball where the gambler took an active part on the field or managing the team.
Pete Rose claims that he only gambled on his team to win but what did that tell his gambling connections when he didn’t bet? It gave them the idea to bet that Pete’s team would more likely lose that game.
Did manager Pete withhold certain starting pitchers and relief pitchers from games he expected to lose and then use them in games he bet on to win?
More importantly, Pete was compromising the integrity of the game, leaving it open for games to appear fixed if the betting was discovered by the media.
Pete signed a confession when he accepted the ban, but he insisted it had to be kept secret.
Let Pete release the secrecy of the confession before the ban is lifted so Hall of Fame voters and all fans can have the true details.
