Shucking news from Philadelphia eagles…

The Eagles (10-4) host the New York Giants in the penultimate game of Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season on Christmas Day.
We know that the Eagles have already stamped their ticket to the playoffs for the third year in a row.
As for the NFC East title? The Eagles’ chances greatly improved with a gift on Christmas Eve as the Miami Dolphins won their first game of the season over a team with a winning record, beating Dallas (10-5) on a last-second field goal, 22-20.
All five of Dallas’ losses this season have come on the road. The Eagles simply need to run the table to win the division, becoming the first team to win the NFC East in consecutive seasons since Philadelphia dominanted the division from 2001-04.
According to NFL’s Next Gen Stats, the Eagles have a 69% chance of winning the division after the Cowboys’ loss, their second in a row. Philadelphia has a 7% chance at the No. 1 seed as the Eagles lose the head-to-head tiebreaker with San Francisco, a 41% chance at the No. 2 seed, and an 21% possibility of the third seed.
The Eagles will finish no worse than the No. 5 seed.
The Philadelphia Eagles made plenty of noise leading up to last month’s trade deadline.
The buzz even resulted in a few deals, though there were some dream players that didn’t end up in Philly.
However, it turns out Howie Roseman checked in on at least one popular target ahead of Halloween.
