Indiana fever news

Indiana Fever Head Coach Christie Sides said she will sign a key player who is better than Caitlin Clark.

Clark came off during the recent match against the New York Liberty with what seemed to be an ear injury, which may be a surprise given how harshly she has been treated by some opponents.

The assumption would have been an impact injury.

Sides mentioned that Clark is currently being evaluated for her ear and while there isn’t a final diagnosis, she said.

“There’s something going on with her ear,” per Matthew Byrne on X.

She keeps fighting.I just feel like we need to get the same calls that they’re getting on the other end. We’re just not getting those same calls.

I’m going to fight like hell for them.”

Clark herself also spoke about how the season is panning out, saying.

“I think at times there are ways I can probably channel it a little better, but that’s just basketball at the end of the day.”

“That’s never going to change. I’m never going to lose that. I feel like I’m getting hammered.”

In the latest matchup between college rivals Clark and Angel Reese, and on a day former South Carolina star Kamilla Cardoso made her regular-season pro debut in front of another sellout crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Clark finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a 71-70 victory over the Chicago Sky on Pride Day.
