BREAKING NEWS: West Tigers Center Adam Doueihi rejects contract Extension….

The 24-year-old forward, in his fifth season at Wests Tigers, has played 42 NRL games for the club in that period.

Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson has thanked Asu for his efforts as a Wests Tigers player.

“This is an outcome that works for all parties, and we wish AJ the very best with his future.”

Kepaoa will link up with the Panthers this week.

Adam Doueihi is pulling no punches ahead of his return from injury, claiming some of his Wests Tigers teammates need to be “pulled into line” after a string of losses.

The 25-year-old will finally be back in action after spending over a year on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, with the club naming him at halfback for NSW Cup.

Doueihi is expected to be back in the mix for first grade selection in the coming weeks, but is already putting those ahead of him in the pecking order on notice.

Speaking to Triple M’s The Rush Hour, the utility admitted some of the performances from the Tigers this year haven’t met the “benchmark” set by the leaders within the squad and he’s hoping to enact some change when his time in the NRL comes.

“To see the boys lose this many games on the trot does hurt me, because I know I can help get us some more wins,” Doueihi said.
