The Balmain junior has played 57 games for the club since joining from the Rabbitohs in 2020, playing a number of different positions.
Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson said it’s been heartening to watch Doueihi’s journey back to the field and he was pleased to have him remain with the club until at least the end of 2025.
“It’s been a very long road back from injury for Adam and it was so pleasing to see him out there last weekend,” Richardson said on the club website.
“He is a tremendously talented footballer whose resilience and mental toughness cannot be questioned. And more importantly, he is a very good person.”
The Dolphins have locked up hooker Jeremy Marshall-King through until at least the end of the 2028 NRL season.
Already contracted through to the end of next year, the two-Test Kiwi has now signed on for a further three seasons after joining the Dolphins as an inaugural player in 2023.
Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader said Marshall-King is one of the underrated players in the NRL and labelled his extension as a major coup for the competition newcomers.
“It is fair to say that people are quickly realising how important he is to our team,” Reader said.
“His contract extension is wonderful news for our members and fans, and a key part to setting the future of our club’s spine.”
It follows news of the Dolphins picking up former New South Wales and Mate Ma’a Tonga representative Tevita Pangai junior effective immediately for the remainder of the 2024 NRL season.
