This match was moved to the home of the Atlanta Hawks men’s side due to the huge impact which No. 1 draft pick Clark has had on the game.
Indiana provided a performance to mark the bumper crowd by scoring a season-high 35 points in the first quarter, to seize the momentum.
Clark continued her fine form going into the third quarter by scoring her fourth 3-pointer and Indiana’s 10th as they moved into a 71-60 lead.
They cruised their way towards a comfortable win in the fourth quarter, as Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston got in on the act with 18 and 10 points respectively, while Katie Lou Samuelson scored 10 points from the bench.
Meanwhile, it was an ultimately disappointing evening for the Dream.
Tina Charles did her best to turn the tide of the match in the Dream’s favour with her season-high haul of 24 points, in what was her 37th career 20-point game.
Allisha Gray and Hayley Jones added 19 and 12 points each.
Atlanta have a quick chance to bounce back when they host the New York Liberty on Sunday, while the Fever are in action away at Chicago Sky later that evening.
Elsewhere, the Las Vegas Aces overcame the Connecticut Sun with an 85-74 victory.
A’ja Wilson topped the scoring charts for the Aces with 26 points and 16 rebounds, and Kelsey Plum scored 18.
