“With this being my fourth time up there, I really have seen a lot of things, but even the fact this is my fourth time up there, I’m still learning new stuff about Louisville and that was pretty good,” White said. “And then I had my dad. So, this trip really was about getting my dad there to see it because he hadn’t been up here with me.”
The catalyst behind his frequent visits has been the connection made with UofL linebackers coach Mark Ivey.
“There’s always great positive energy there,” White said. “Coach Ivey is a great genuine person and I’m very close with him. And it was good to get to be around the players and see what they thought.
“We have a great relationship. He’s been recruiting me since my sophomore year. So we have just built a great relationship.”
“It a little bit of both cause there is obviously things I like about each school that I’ve been to, but it’s also made it easier because now I’m getting to know more about the team, and even more so about the schools and seeing how it is being around their players and seeing what it’s like in the city. So really like it’s been easier because I’m getting more information about the schools, but harder, but now it’s like I have to finally make a decision.”
White no exact date has set for announcing his commitment, White knows that it is coming soon.
“I don’t have a specific date right now, but I definitely want to commit sometime in July or at the very, very latest, right at the beginning of August,” he said. “But, I definitely want to try sometime in July.”
