So Sad: Adonijah Green Ends Relationship with Louisville Star After finding out he was………Read More……

His time in Louisville was highlighted by some of the experiences the city provides, along with getting a closer look at the football program.

“We checked out all of Louisville,” he said. “I was with coach Morris, myself, and then we drove around downtown Louisville and saw everything. We got to go to Churchill Downs. We got to see the Yum! Center, and then we got to spend the day at the football facility and just checking out the entire stadium.”

Most importantly, the relationship between Hazzard and the coaching staff has strengthened.

“It definitely strengthened them,” Hazzard said. “That was the first time I’ve got to sit down and talk to coach Brohm, one-on-one, and then being able to sit down and get to really know the defensive side of the of the ball with coach English and everybody else, coach Hagan, coach Morris, coach Ivey. It’s really just great to be able to get to know them a little bit deeper and see what kind of people they are.”

The UofL staff views Hazzard as one that can develop into a standout performer. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite places him as the No. 91 edge prospect nationally.

“I would say they definitely see me being a top guy at Louisville and they see me being a guy that can standout in the ACC at that,” Hazzard said. “They’ve all said that I’m on a very underrated player when it comes to getting rated with stars and all that and they think that I have what it takes to play at a big level.”

Hazzard was hosted on his visit by Ashton Gillotte and Ramon Puryear.

“They definitely love it up here,” Hazzard said. “The new coaching staff since coach Brohm’s got there has very changed a whole lot and just being able to see their story and how it’s changed for the better. It’s been great and they think they’re going to win an ACC title this year.”
