Breaking News: Louisville Cardinals head coach just summitted his resignation letter to the management.

Louisville football has added multiple players to its 2025 recruiting class during June, with Franklin, Tenn., edge Eric Hazzard the latest to announce for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals’ class now holds a 11 players, with the projection that the group will grow to between 15-18 commitments before its completed.
The class began with its first commitment last November, with Top 30 quarterback Mason Mims becoming the first to announce for the Cardinals.
Thus far in June, six player have joined the fold to push the total into double digits.
Cardinal Authority continues to track the latest developments, including prospects to watch as the UofL coaching staff seeks to fill the final spots.
The first member of Louisville’s 2025 recruiting class, Mason Mims committed to the Cardinals over offers from Pittsburgh, Mississippi State, West Virginia, and a number of others.
At the time of his commitment, Mims explained much of his decision focused on the ability to learn from UofL head coach Jeff Brohm and offensive coordinator Brian Brohm.
“I know going to Louisville to play under those two, they are going to develop me into a better quarterback,” Mims said.
“They have been around football for so long and so many good quarterbacks, and they were both good quarterbacks.
They’ll develop me into a better one.”
