The Nebraska football team started the week looking like they might not be getting any good news on the recruiting front.
And then Thursday and Friday happened.
While there’s still some news to come, Friday brought a very big announcement.
The Huskers landed the commitment of a transfer defensive back who can help the team immediately.
has officially pulled the trigger and is now a member of the Huskers.
Lincoln last week, and it was thought at some point that meant he would eventually commit to the Nebraska football team.
However, things had been quiet on that front until Friday afternoon.
The announcement that the former USC defensive back was joining the Huskers was the continuation of good news that first starting coming in on Thursday night.
That was when offensive line prospect Brian Tapu announced he’d reconsidered.
Tapu originally chose the Oregon State Beavers over NU.
However, just a few days later he decommitted and and then on Thursday night, after all.
While Tapu’s commitment is a big one, Wright’s might be even more important.
He comes over to the Cornhuskers in the middle of what looks like some.
