“I’AM LEAVING” THOR GRIFFITH HAS ANNOUNCED THAT HE IS LEAVING THE LOUISVILLE DUE TO…………READ MORE…..

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – With the Louisville baseball program well into their offseason, one of the first orders of business after summer assignments is roster management. More specifically, figuring out what players you will and will not be losing to the MLB Draft.
Even in a 20-round draft format, Louisville could still be losing a fair amount of talent to the draft, as they typically have every year in the Dan McDonnell era. Below are the Cardinals most likely to hear their name called sometime between July 14 and July 16, sorted by category:

The scandal cast a pall over a promising season and eventually led the school to ban itself from the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
Before anyone knew that the tournament would be taken, I remember talking to Lee during the team’s preseason trip to Puerto Rico. He was as insightful and articulate as any player I could remember at the school, and, during that trip, the team developed a catchy mantra.
“Who’s got my back?” Lee would say, call-and-response style. And his teammates would answer, “I got your back.”
“We started it just to do it,” Lee said. “Not really for anything. Just the camaraderie. Because something I’m really about is fellowship and community. And the team bought into it.
