Angel Reese drops a shocking social media massage to team/fans

Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have made headlines recently, as players on the team have been dealing with some rather dramatic instances on and off the court.

During the Sky’s game against the Indiana Fever on June 1, Sky guard Chennedy Carter shoulder-checked Fever star Caitlin Clark, resulting in nearly a week of storylines about the treatment of the star rookie.

Carter doubled down on the situation by attacking Clark’s skillset at the professional level.

Fellow star rookie Reese was also the subject of steep media attention when she initially made herself unavailable after the aforementioned game with the Fever.

The result was a fine for the young guard in the sum of $1,000 and $5,000 for the Sky for not adhering to media policies.

Also, during the Sky’s game against the New York Liberty on Tuesday, Reese was ejected after the game, though the WNBA has since rescinded the technical foul that led to her ejection.

The increase in media attention reached a boiling point, as Reese and multiple players on the Sky revealed a harrowing situation involving harassment from someone attempting to record them while at their hotel.

Reese took to X to speak about the situation, stating, “finding out our teams hotel to pull with a camera as we get off the bus and put it in my teammates face & HARASS her is NASTY WORK. this really is outta control and needs to STOP.”
