The Alabama Crimson Tide have been going through major transition this offseason.

A new head coach in Kalen DeBoer, replacing the GOAT Nick Saban.

A completely revamped secondary after losing Caleb Downs.

And an offensive receiving group that just saw four of their top six receiving options leave for the NFL Draft or the Transfer Portal. Whatever will they do?

For starters, Kalen DeBoer and his fresh Alabama staff have answered the call by absolutely dominating on the recruiting trail.

But beyond that, Alabama is realizing that despite all of the changes going on they still have an absolutely stacked roster with otherworldly athletes.

And Kendrick Law might be the most impressive one of them all!

Kalen DeBoer joined Cole Cubelic on his show this week during SEC Media Days and couldn’t stop talking about how impressive Kendrick Law is in terms of his athleticism and workouts.

Anyone running over 23 miles per hour is absolutely wild, but Kendrick Law was a verified speedster even coming out of high school.

Prior to joining Alabama he ran a sub 10.5-second 100 meter dash time at his state level track meet when he was still just a junior in high school.

This fact gets forgotten by many since Law has largely been relegated to very limited playing time at wide receiver.

However, late last season the Crimson Tide started getting Law more involved in creative ways with short quick passes, expanded work as a return man, and he even had a 40-yard rushing touchdown against Auburn called back on a penalty that didn’t impact the play (as you can see in the video below).

Law was showcasing his speed in limited action already in 2023, but now he should see a hugely expanded role as a starter this fall.
