Before every college football season, I like to try to envision as many potential outcomes as I can.

I like to do this because it helps bring a sense of balance to the coverage — something that is especially useful if the team you cover is pretty much always expected to be in the national title hunt.

However, it appears Oregon is the team to beat as McNutt’s commitment approaches.

Every expert prediction across 247Sports and On3 has McNutt joining the Ducks.

The Recruiting Prediction Model for On3 also gives Oregon a 93.2% chance of landing McNutt.

The Buckeyes, who own the nation’s top 2025 class, have landed five commitments from 2025 defensive backs.

Five-star cornerbacks Devin Sanchez and Na’eem Offord are among the bright spots in the class.

At safety, though, four-star prospect Faheem Delane is the highest-rated commit.

Jayson Tatum has become one of the NBA’s stars during his career with the Boston Celtics which started in 2017 when he was drafted out of Duke.

However, that wasn’t the career path Tatum envisioned in fourth grade.

In a post on his Instagram story this week, Tatum shared an essay he wrote as a child.

“Twenty years from now, I will have gone to one year at Ohio State University where I will meet Kristen,” he wrote.

“She will have gone to Ohio State’s Law School while I’m in the NBA.”
