Worst nightmare: Just now The Track and Field’ Legend Fraser-pryce pass away at 37….RIP

As a storm lingered over Summit High School’s Tiger Field on Friday, July 19, Faith Fox pushed her car door open against the resistance of the strong breeze outside, walked onto the turf field and began preparing for her afternoon track workout.
Fox — an incoming junior at the high school — went about her warmup routine, completing a few drills while the clouds continued to stir above the turf field.
Eventually, Fox got into her workout, using her own goals and desires in the sport as motivation as she careened around her hometown track.
Although Fox’s sophomore track season wrapped up at the Colorado state track and field back in May, where she placed fourth in the 300-meter hurdles, Fox has kept training over the summer months in hopes of qualifying for the USA Track and Field (USATF) National Junior Olympic Championships at the end of July.
Since running in her first meet of the outdoor track season back in March, Fox has carried on with her rigorous training program throughout the summer, logging hours of work by herself while occasionally traveling to Denver to receive coaching guidance from 2022 World Indoor Championship bronze medalist Marybeth Price.
“It is just pushing towards the next goal,” Fox said of training mostly on her own.
“I want to go to nationals. It is fun to improve in the sport. Training with my coach down in Denver, I have been working with Marybeth Price for a while, she has been really helpful in getting me to my goals that I need to reach as well.”
