Tennessee Vols news

My Condolences: Tennessee Vols HC (Josh Heupel) and his Son die in car crash…..

We are a month away from college football with the first game kicking off on August 24th.

Fans are so close to their favorite time of year where they get to cheer on their favorite team in their favorite place at home.

Tennessee football is set to kick off in Week 1 against Chattanooga on August 31st.

Until then, the team is working hard trying to become better than their 9-4 season last year.

At SEC Media Days, head coach Josh Heupel talked about the improvements that will be seen on the field for the Volunteers this season.

He talked about new additions and some of the questions about where players will play this season.

There are questions about the wide receiver room and if they can take a step forward from last season.

With the seasons starting soon, here is a look at a projected depth chart for the Tennessee Volunteers.

This is not the actual depth chart, but just a projection for the 2024 season.

“One of the things that interested me was the confidence that Tennessee came with,” Rutledge explained.

“I think they’re a team that could be one of these six or eight teams that we talk about potentially contending.

But Josh Heupel wasn’t backing down at all.

They’re unproven at quarterback but talented. I just think there’s a lot there that we could be overlooking.

And he made me feel – I was buying what he was selling.

So, I would say Tennessee probably stepped up a little bit in my eyes this week.
