Running back Isiah Pacheco give reason why he left Kansas City Chiefs today….
Following reports that Rashee Rice, a standout player for the Kansas City Chiefs, may have raced and crashed his Corvette in Dallas before escaping the scene, the player’s lawyer maintains that Rice is assisting the police.
“On behalf of Rashee Rice, his thoughts are with everyone impacted by the automobile accident on Saturday,” stated the 23-year-old’s lawyer, Royce West.
“Rashee is working with the local authorities and will take all appropriate action to deal with this matter in a responsible manner.”
A Lamborghini and Corvette are seen traveling at a high pace when they collide with a grey car on the North Central Expressway, dragging both vehicles across the road, according to dashcam footage from the event. The Lamborghini and Corvette that Rice, the police suspect, is allegedly driving were in a race.
Then it looked like five males from the Lamborghini and Corvette were leaving the scene by walking on the shoulder of the road. Because the Corvette is either registered or leased to Rice, who assisted the Chiefs in winning the Super Bowl in February for the second time in a row, police had him on their wanted list.
Following the weekend incident in Dallas, Rashee Rice, a prominent player for the Kansas City Chiefs, is assisting the police, according to his lawyer.
The accident victim, named as 27-year-old Kayla Quinn, claimed that the males speeding left the scene without showing any remorse, endangering her four-year-old kid.
“No one halted,” Quinn informed the DMN. “We have kids, like, we have kids, you understand what I mean?”
“What bothers me is that there was no compassion displayed to the point where you could even pause and make sure someone is still alive and well.”
“It could have been so much worse, so I’m just grateful that I was able to leave.”
After being examined by paramedics at the accident scene, Quinn’s son was found to be in good health.
Rice was raised in the North Richland Hills neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas, and attended SMU in Dallas for his whole four years of college.
After being selected by Kansas City in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, he played in 16 games (eight starts) and finished with 79 receptions for 938 yards and a team-high seven touchdown grabs.
In four playoff games, he also recorded 26 receptions for 262 yards and a touchdown, which helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl for the second time in a row.
In January’s 26-7 playoff victory over the Miami Dolphins, he broke the franchise rookie playoff record with 130 receiving yards, gaining high appreciation from Travis Kelce.
“I’m happy for him,” Kelce remarked. He’s gone a long way, and as a player in this offense, I believe he will continue to improve. It’s been entertaining to watch him step up to the plate and genuinely take us by surprise in several ways in both the run and pass games.f
