Breaking News: Baltimore Ravens head coach just summitted his resignation letter to the management.

Lamar Jackson did not participate in practice on Friday due to an illness.
After the Baltimore Ravens announced the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback would undergo further evaluation, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported that tests on Jackson came back negative.
However, Rapoport added that the quarterback was dealing with a “flu-like situation.”
Jackson previously missed the first three days of training camp with an illness and left the field midway through his first appearance on Wednesday.
ESPN’s Jamison Hensley noted that he looked “weary” as he went back to the team’s facilities.
It’s not an uncommon occurrence for Jackson, as he’s missed at least one practice in each of his seven seasons in the NFL due to illness (h/t Hensley).
However, it’s concerning that his latest ailment has continued to affect him over the course of Baltimore’s first week of training camp and has prevented him from practicing with his teammates.
After Jackson’s absence on Wednesday, Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken revealed that he was able to participate in team meetings before his exit from the field.
“You’ll have to ask him how he feels,” Monken said, per Hensley.
“But he was great in meetings. When we were on the field at the start [of practice], he said he was feeling good.”
Jackson is coming off the second MVP-winning season of his career, leading the Ravens to the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 13-3 record.
He completed 67.2 percent of his passes for a career-high 3,678 yards, throwing 24 touchdowns compared to just seven interceptions.
He also added 821 yards on the ground.
