Detroit Lions Head Coach was Just Confirmed….

Taylor Decker endured a lot of losing early in his career with the Detroit Lions and the team plans to have the veteran offensive tackle around to potentially experience some success, keeping him under contract through the 2027 season.
Decker signed a $60 million, three-year extension Monday, according to a person familiar with the situation who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the terms were not announced.
CBS Sports Lead NFL Insider Jonathan Jones confirmed the deal includes $31.83 million in guarantees.
The Detroit Lions revamped their secondary over the offseason, adding two veterans and drafting two rookies to throw into the mix.
As a defense already known for their affinity of versatility all over the field, those new additions and the competition unfolding at camp have led to new looks and pairings.
Emmanuel Moseley received his fair share of slot reps during his first week back on the field to open training camp.
Amik Robertson and rookie Ennis Rakestraw Jr. have also shared a piece of that pie, with the Lions waiting on second-year pro Brian Branch’s full return from offseason ankle surgery.
And then E-Man (Moseley) is new to the position for the most part, and he’s doing a good job, he really is.
Look, he’s a cerebral guy, he’s very smart, and so those two guys are rolling in there right now and we’re just letting them go.
But, there again, this week’s going to be a huge part of the development for both those guys.”
