Tragic News: The Arkansas Razorbacks mourn the death of their head coach and 3 other players in a plane cr….!

Sam Pittman and Arkansas football received two class of 2025 commitments on Saturday, August 3rd. RB Cameron Settles and DB Shannon Blair (JUCO).
East Mississippi Community College defensive back Shannon Blair committed to Arkansas.
Blair, 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, played his high school football at Knoxville (Tenn.) West.
In 2023 at junior college, he had 25 tackles and four interceptions.
He chose the Hogs over Memphis, Liberty and others.
Blair is Arkansas’ 20th commit and the third defensive back in the class of 2025, which is currently ranked No. 28 nationally according to Rivals.
Class of 2025 three-star RB Cameron Settles committed to Arkansas as well Saturday.
Settles is Arkansas’ 9th best player in 2025.
Settles played high school football for Parkview Magnet in Little Rock, winning the Class 5A State Championship in 2023.
He ran for 979 yards and 20 touchdowns while also playing defensive back for the Patriots.
Settles becomes the 20th class of 2025 prospect to commit to Arkansas, and he is the second running back in the class.
Markeylin Batton, a three-star prospect out of Texas, announced his pledge to the Hogs on Feb. 3.
He can play multiple positions in the defensive backfield, although he’s projected as a safety in college.
On film, Auston shows short-to-long range burst, along with twitchy, solid flexibility in the hips to recover or make a play on the ball.
As a student-athlete at McArthur High School, Auston can be used in a hybrid safety role similar to former Razorbacks star Rudell Crim.
With college offenses primarily running spread tempo concept having what looks like a fourth linebacker can help combat speed on underneath routes.
