End of an era: Jalen Milroe and 3 other Players from Alabama departed from the team after…

Alabama football was back on the outdoor practice field Tuesday morning after the day off on Monday.

The Crimson Tide practiced in shells and shorts once again during the media viewing period.

It was a very warm morning in Tuscaloosa while the Crimson Tide conducted its fifth practice of fall camp.

Kane Wommack and Alabama defensive players are scheduled to speak to the media after practice.

Here are some practice notes from Tuesday’s practice.

Alabama football will begin the 2024 season with its lowest coaches poll ranking since 2009 after being picked No. 5, ending a streak of 14 consecutive seasons inside the top three.

The Crimson Tide are entering their first season under head coach Kalen DeBoer, who was hired following Nick Saban’s retirement.

DeBoer’s first Alabama football fall camp is well underway, as he tries to solidify the Alabama football depth chart.

Several position groups were decimated by the usual attrition of players completing their eligibility or leaving school for the NFL

Calloway played in 13 games as a freshman. He had 10 carries for 63 yards.

During his time in Tuscaloosa, Calloway got arrested twice.

In October of 2011, he was arrested for second-degree possession of marijuana. In 2013, Calloway was arrested for second-degree robbery and one count of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Needless to say, Calloway never played another down for the Crimson Tide following the second incident off the football field.
