A rising NRLW star has been charged with allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old girl in a Sydney unit block following an argument over a food delivery.
Police will allege in court a 20-year-old woman, who has since been identified as Parramatta Eels winger Kate Fallon, assaulted a teen girl at a complex in Chifley on July 17.
Fallon was taken to Maroubra Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
“She was given conditional bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 14 August 2024,” police said.
The victim’s father *Steve told 2GB’s Ben Fordham his daughter had approached Fallon’s unit to locate her order when an altercation erupted and she was allegedly struck in the head.
She’s a pretty tough cookie but to go through this without explanation,” he said.
Steve claimed his daughter was left with a “5cm or 6cm” gash, which required stitches.
“Blood started gushing out of her head,” he said.
He alleged she was hit with “an unknown object”.
A spokesperson for the Club said: “The Parramatta Eels are aware of an incident involving a player from our NRLW team.”
“The Club has advised the NRL integrity unit as per our normal process.
“As it is a police matter, the Club will not be making further comment at this time.”
