Georgia football player Pearce Spurlin sends a touching note following his medical disqualification.
Pearce Spurlin, a sophomore tight end for the Georgia Bulldogs, has been medically declared ineligible to play collegiate football. Following Spurlin’s rookie season at Georgia, medical professionals found that his congenital heart issue had gotten worse.
Spurlin will continue to be involved with the Georgia program despite resigning from football due to health reasons. Spurlin will continue to be a scholar.
Pearce Spurlin, a former four-star prospect who had a strong rookie season, is disappointed with the turn of events. Spurlin was anticipated to play this fall as Georgia’s number two or number three tight end.
