Dolly Parton’s Stampede’s parent company has bought the Titanic Museum.

A statement from the CEO of World Choice Investments, LLC, which owns Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud, and the Comedy Barn, shared that they acquired the Titanic properties from John and Mary Kellogg-Joslyn several months ago.

The CEO went on to say that this allowed the couple to retire.

The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge opened in April 2010, while the location in Branson opened four years earlier in 2006.

The museum’s website claims it is the world’s largest museum attraction.

Pigeon Forge’s Titanic Museum has a new owner, a company with many properties in the area.

World Choice Investments (WCI) made the buy, adding the museum to a collection of entertainment shows and theaters to a growing portfolio that includes, among other things, Dolly Parton’s Stampede.

In 2019, WCI acquired the Comedy Barn and the Hatfield & McCoy dinner show. The company also owns the Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show.

The Titanic Museum was started by John Joslyn and his wife, Mary Kellogg, in the early 2000′s in Branson, Missouri. It wasn’t long before the couple expanded into the Smoky Mountains, opening the location in Pigeon Forge.

WCI CEO Jack Lawrence shared a statement about the purchase, saying the original owners can now retire from the business they spent decades building.
