No. 11 Arkansas split its Friday doubleheader with Ole Miss after falling 6-0 in game one and run-ruling the Rebels, 12-2 (5 inn.), in the nightcap at Bogle Park.
Arkansas moves its overall record to 36-14 with a 14-9 conference mark.
Evening the series in game two, the Razorbacks will look to win their sixth consecutive SEC series at 3 p.m. CT Saturday at Bogle Park.
The rubber game will be available to stream on SEC Network+.
Defensive miscues and offensive struggles plagued Arkansas in game one as the Rebels picked up the 6-0 win.
The Razorbacks were outhit at an 8-3 clip and committed two errors.
RHP Morgan Leinstock (13-3) made the start and surrendered four runs (two earned) on six hits across 5.0 innings pitched.
Leinstock struck out six and worked around a pair of walks.
Ole Miss grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first after the Rebels grounded into a double play at second base that allowed a runner from third to score.
Leinstock and the defense kept the Rebels off the board in the second through fifth innings.
A solo home run and a throwing error allowed two more Rebels to score in the sixth.
LHP Robyn Herron replaced Leinstock in the circle and limited the damage to one more unearned run for a 4-0 Ole Miss advantage in the sixth.
LHP Hannah Camenzind threw an inning of relief in the seventh, allowing two runs on two hits after the Rebels swatted a two-run bomb for a 6-0 lead.
Reagan Johnson, Cylie Halvorson and Rylee Cloud accounted for a base hit each.
