Scott Meadows announced that this will be his last year coaching football.

The veteran coach currently has a 164-105 record in 23 seasons of coaching.

Meadows started his head coaching career at Sequoyah High School in 1998.

He spent two seasons there before taking over the head job at Alcoa.

During his first season with the Tornadoes, he went 15-0 and won the Class 2A State Championship over Union City 27-20.

Meadows moved on to Jefferson County where he had a 19-6 record over two seasons. After his time at Jefferson County, Meadows went to William Blount. T

he head coach spent four seasons with the Governors. During his tenure with William Blount, Meadows picked up 25 wins.

After a year hiatus, Meadows jumped back into coaching by taking the Knoxville Catholic head job.

After four years with the Irish, Meadows transitioned to Sevier County taking the head job at Pigeon Forge.

Meadows helped the Tigers to back-to-back winning seasons in 2014 and 2015.

He finished with a 28-19 record over four years.

Meadows decided to step down after the 2016 season, but he returned to coaching three years later taking over the Carter job in 2019.

After one season with the Hornets, Meadows returned to Pigeon Forge.

Meadows is in his fight season back with Pigeon Forge, but it will be his last.
