Tragic Loss: Wrexham star involved in car cr…

Phil Parkinson believes his side’s summer transfer window signings can help continue the “Wrexham story”.
The Red Dragons brought in Mo Faal, Ollie Rathbone, Dan Scarr, Lewis Brunt, George Dobson, Seb Revan, Callum Burton and Arthur Okonkwo in the transfer market.
And Parkinson feels the additions will help Wrexham cope with the gruelling demands of the 2024-25 League One campaign.
“The transfer window is always a difficult one because some you miss out on, some you get,” Parkinson said.
I’m pleased with the people we’ve brought into the building to carry on this Wrexham story.
“When the games come thick and fast in the weeks to come, we’ll make changes.
“We know we’ve got really good players to step in and we’re enjoying working with the group and there’s more to come from us.
After losing in the semi-final of the playoffs last season, Peterborough went on to experience a disappointing start to the new campaign, losing 2-0 to Huddersfield Town and Oxford United in the league and EFL Cup respectively.
However, they have managed to produce a positive response in their last two matches, having got their season up and running with consecutive away victories.
They recorded a dominant 4-1 win over Shrewsbury Town before they edged out Exeter City in their most recent outing, coming from behind to claim a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Malik Mothersille and Emmanuel Fernandez.
The Posh will now return to the home comforts of the Weston Homes Stadium for their first meeting with Wrexham since February 2008.
Peterborough may be able to take confidence from the fact they have avoided defeat in their last 10 head-to-head matches.
