Breaking News:Wolverines key player Has been Ruled out Today…

One of the star players on that Wolverines team is Blake Corum, who was born and raised in Fauquier County, Virginia.
The running back is already beginning to shift his focus. He’s currently in Miami, training and preparing for the NFL Combine in early March.
7News Sports Anchor Scott Abraham spoke with Corum about the next chapter of his football journey.
“I’m training for the combine and God willing a team drafts me,” Corum told Abraham. “A team sees something good in me and [feels] like I can fit their scheme. I want to be able to finally say that I reached the NFL and that’s been my dream since playing football back home.”
Corum plays with energy and physicality, which made his one of college football’s most productive runners for three straight years.
This past season, Corum broke Michigan’s all-time career rushing touchdowns record, proving he’s one of the top running back prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.
“I want to show everything. I want to show how fast I am. When it comes to interviews, I want to show how intelligent I am, how my football IQ is and hopefully they will find interest and select me in the draft,” Corum said. “I think my game speaks for itself. It doesn’t matter how big you are or how fast you are as long as you are good at what you do.”
There are several different mock drafts out there right now. Many have Corum getting selected in the second or third round.
