Learning From Experts: Unveiling John Calipari’s Game Winning Strategy Against Auburn Tigers…

Kentucky snapped a three-game home losing streak against Ole Miss. Now they’ll hit the road for a Top 25 matchup in an unforgiving environment at Auburn.

Kentucky opens as a 7.5-point underdog at Auburn with a total of 162.5 on FanDuel. You can get the Cats on the moneyline at +270. KenPom projects an Auburn 87-77 win and ESPN’s BPI gives the Wildcats just a 14.8% chance of pulling off the Top 25 upset.

As BTI detailed this morning, Kentucky is rarely an underdog of 7+ points. It’s only happened nine times in the Calipari era, but the good news is they won three of those games outright.

Bruce Pearl’s 13th-ranked Tigers have been dominant at Neville Arena. In their three-ranked matchups with Top 25 SEC teams, Auburn has won by an average of 27 points. They are 6-0 Against the Spread (ATS) in home games against SEC foes and have won every single home this year by 10+ points.

Kentucky is 14-10 ATS this year, but it’s been a mixed bag away from Rupp Arena. They are 3-2 ATS on the road in SEC play, but have covered and won outright in each of their last two road games.
