Italian sensation Jannik Sinner may not seem like the most powerful player out there, but his game will tell you otherwise.

A dominant baseliner with some of the best ground-strokes, Sinner became the first Italian to reach the Australian Open singles final in 2024.

He defeated world No.1 Novak Djokovic in the semifinals, a feat that nobody had achieved in the semifinal stage at Melbourne Park.

He went on to claim his first Grand Slam in Melbourne, defeating Daniil Medvedev 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-3 in the final. In March 2024, Sinner defeated the in-form Grigor Dimitrov to win the Miami Masters.
