He died from brain cancer aged 58.
This development comes even as NBA legend, Michael Jordan extended condolences on his demise.

Jordan’s tribute is just one of the many famous names from whom condolences and words of affection have poured at the passing of another Hall of Famer, Dikembe Mutombo.

It would be recalled that his family revealed two years ago that he was undergoing treatment in Atlanta for a brain tumor.
