Dimitrov is still going strong on the men’s tour at the age of 33.

He’s chalked up 38 wins from 52 matches this season, including title-winning runs in the Brisbane International and the Laver Cup.

He also secured runner-up finishes in the Miami Open and the Open 13 Provence in Marseille, where he lost to Ugo Humbert in the finals.

The Bulgarian will enter Shanghai on the back of a quarterfinal exit in the US Open and a brilliant performance in the Laver Cup.

He earned a valuable point for Team Europe by defeating Alejandro Tabilo in the singles contest, 7-6(4), 7-6(2).

Bulgarian tennis ace Grigor Dimitro shares a great bond with Novak Djokovic , but when it came to picking his tennis GOAT, the 33-year-old had no hesitation in snubbing his Serbian friend for Roger Federer .

Dimitrov named the 20-time Grand Slam champion as his tennis GOAT, saying he has always looked up to the Swiss maestro.

Dimitrov made these comments during a quick Q&A session for the ATP Tour social media page.

The Bulgarian was asked different questions ranging from “Who is the nicest guy on the tour” to “Who is the GOAT?”

While Dimitrov picked Federer as his GOAT, the World No.10 picked Hubert Hurkacz as the nicest guy on the tour.

Dimitrov also answered an interesting question about his wingman. When asked who from the Tour can be his wingman, he picked Jack Draper .

For the most underrated player, Dimitrov picked Australian Alex de Minaur.

Meanwhile, quite obviously, the Bulgarian’s pick for the funniest in the locker room was Frances Tiafoe.

Dimitrov revealed his two go-to artists before a match- Tupac and The Weekend.
