West Indies Cricket news

Sad News: About a minute ago, West Indies Cricket key player died in a car c……

It wasn’t easy out there, that’s for sure. It’s definitely one of the hardest knocks I have had physically, so yeah, it was really tough.

I had to squeeze quite a lot of spin in there and it was tough to manage with the heat.

“It think it was pretty excellent all-round from the team. The way that Marizanne started with those two early wickets and then the four wickets from Nonkululeko Mlaba, we were really pleased.

It was great to get the win in the shed as well at the end.

A very disappointing game, not the way we wanted to start.

We have to pick up the pieces quickly, it’s a long tournament, we’ve still got a shot with it but it’s going to take some performances.

“I think they bowled really well, we weren’t able to play with a high enough strike rate.”

The depth of West Indies cricket is certainly a concern.

A lot of young women are turning to other sports and away from cricket.

The talent pool is something they have to think about and it’s safe to say they were really not on it today.

This is very special for me, I know I’m playing for all the people back in South Africa.

I’m representing my family, I’ve got their name on the back of my shirt, it feels good.”
