Following surgery, the Crimson Tide playmaker updated supporters on social media and thanked them.

Easter weekend was spent off by the Alabama Crimson Tide football team before they returned for two more weeks of spring practice. With enthusiasm obvious across the program, Kalen DeBoer’s first spring as head coach has been largely good.

The first significant setback for the program occurred last Tuesday when Jalen Hale, a sophomore receiver for Alabama, sustained a serious knee injury. After leaving the Mal Moore Athletic Facility in an ambulance on Saturday, Hale updated his status on social media and thanked supporters for their well wishes.

“I’m doing good everyone I’m out the hospital i’m moving around a little bit just waiting on my next process and get to my rehabilitation it wasn’t as bad as it could have been so I’m blessed and thankful for that I will return stronger than ever thanks everyone your support,” Hale posted to Twitter on Saturday.

With five receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown in 13 games, Hale wrapped up his first campaign. DeBoer stated that while he heals from his injury, he will miss the rest of spring practice.

“Good morning everyone just wanna say thank you for all the text and phone I have got so far I really appreciate the support and love and prayers,” Hale said to Twitter on Thursday.

Six more for the Crimson Tide concludes on Saturday, April 13 at Bryant-Denny Stadium with the yearly spring A-Day game. With Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice, and Germie Bernard leading the way, Alabama will still have seven scholarship wide receivers to assist them through the remainder of the spring and perform well on A-Day.
