OF Carson Beck announcement that he is leaving George bulldogs Now another significant issue for team…..

Georgia received colossal news for the 2025 recruiting class on Friday.
Five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin announced his commitment to the Bulldogs, choosing Georgia over Miami and Southern California.
The Savannah, Georgia native is the No. 4 ranked player and No. 1 defensive lineman in the class of 2025.
Griffin recorded 33 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and six sacks through his first six games this season.
His commitment adds to an already talented 2025 defensive line group made up of two three-star tackles and two top-10 edge rushers.
He will learn under defensive line coach Tray Scott, who has helped develop college-superstars such as Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis.
Griffin has certainly had time to get to know the Georgia coaching staff and make his decision — the Bulldogs extended their offer to him when he was in eighth grade, and have prioritized him ever since.
He made an official visit to Georgia for its win over Mississippi State on Oct. 12, which may have sealed the commitment.
Griffin’s decision is especially notable because it comes a day after 2026 five-star quarterback Jared Curtis decommitted from Georgia.
The Bulldogs bounced back, and could still add more to their No. 3 ranked recruiting class, as the final signing date isn’t until next April.
