Heart Breaking News: About a minute ago Son Heung-min Confirmed dead in a Car Cr….

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Tottenham are not planning to hand Son Heung-min a new deal, with his current contract expiring next summer.

The South Korean has spent nine seasons at the club, and there has probably been a dramatic U-turn from the club as they reported having plans to open talks about a new agreement.

In the nine seasons Son Heung-min has been at Tottenham, he has established himself as one of their best players as well as one in the Premier League.

The South Korean has played 417 times in all competitions for Spurs, scoring 165 goals and providing 87 assists during this spell.

His current deal expires at the end of the season, and so far, there has been no movement regarding a contract renewal.

Spurs are keen to trigger an extension in his present agreement, which will push his stay until 2026, allowing the club to demand a decent fee next summer if they are open to selling him then.

That might be the case, as the report states that Tottenham has made a dramatic U-turn in its plans to offer Son a new contract.

The £190,000-a-week star, who has been with the club for nine seasons, has been performing at a top level, even this season when he has endured a few injury issues to deal with.
