ANNOUNCEMENT: Georgia Bulldogs Has suspended QB Carson Beck Today…..
Georgia Bulldogs safety David Daniel-Sisavanh was dismissed from the UGA football program over the summer due to a breach of team rules.
In December, he officially entered the transfer portal, and now, he has announced revealed his next destination.
Daniel-Sisavanh has committed to the Troy Trojans.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound defensive back has 20 career tackles and two career pass deflections.
He has one year of eligibility left.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart disclosed Daniel-Sisavanh’s dismissal during SEC media days in July, though he did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding his departure.
Daniel-Sisavanh participated in 10 games during his junior season in 2023.
He filled in for the injured Javon Bullard as a starter against South Carolina, where he recorded 2 tackles.
In 2023, he totaled 10 tackles and one pass breakup.
During his time at Georgia, Daniel-Sisavanh showcased his ability to step up when needed.
His experience and physicality make him a valuable addition to Troy’s secondary for the upcoming season.
Daniel-Sisavanh’s dismissal and transfer departure hurt the depth in Georgia’s defensive backs room.
The Dawgs have already brought in a trio of transfers to play safety.
Carson Beck is now in recovery and training mode, preparing for the 2025 season.
He is expected to be one of the highest-paid transfers in college football history.
The Jacksonville native has one year of eligibility remaining and is expected to evaluate some quarterback-needy teams as possible destinations.
The Bulldogs went 11-3 on the season, capturing their second SEC title since 2022.
He’s thrown for 7,912 yards and 58 touchdowns in his Georgia career.
He won’t be able to start throwing until spring.
