Sad News About a minute ago Louisville Key Player die in a Car Cr…….

U of L coach Jeff Brohm finished 10-4 and had the Cardinals in the ACC Championship for the first time ever during his first season on the job and this year the Cardinals won their final three games, including wins over Pittsburgh and Kentucky, to get to 9-4.

There’s been plenty of movement on the roster with guys leaving and the staff picking up prospects.

U of L has added 15 high school signees and at this point has 19 signed from prospects out of the transfer portal. There

In fact, there’s been so much changed so far that at times it’s hard to keep up with. So, we decided to update the scholarship count for the Cardinals.

We wanted to make it clearer for you just how many scholarships the Cardinals are using at this point.

Right now, Louisville has a total of 78 players on scholarship by our count.

The Cardinals used all 85 scholarships in the first two seasons under Brohm, while during the four years of the Scott Satterfield era the program never got to 85 before adding walk-ons onto scholarship status just before the season.

The NCAA limits FBS programs lifted the 85 scholarship limit and moved that to 105. It’s still unclear how many scholarships Louisville and other programs will use.
