Broncos stars Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam are reportedly under investigation by the NRL integrity unit following a late night incident on their holiday.
The NRL received a complaint about the behaviour of the duo, relating to a fan seeking a selfie with Brisbane fullback Walsh.
Walsh and Mam have been holidaying on the Indonesian island following Brisbane’s premature end to the season. Their actions are now under scrutiny.
The report claims a fan tried to take a selfie with Walsh before Mam stepped in and took the phone off him.
It’s understood Walsh and Mam spent the day drinking with a group of Australians from Sydney and one member of the group was constantly filming and taking photos of Walsh throughout the day.
The report states another member of the group apologised to Mam for his friend’s actions and suggested he should try and take the phone off him. Mam attempted to do so and the phone was dropped and damaged.
An email was sent to the NRL from the father of the phone owner demanding his son’s phone be replaced by Mam. The father allegedly issued an ultimatum that the phone be replaced or the story would be leaked to the media
