Golden State Warriors

AM SORRY Reason Why I Left Golden State Warriors today……

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green isn’t happy with the fact that his team needs to fight its way through the play-in tournament to reach the playoffs, but he understands the positive impact it’s made on the NBA.

“I hate the play-in, just so you all know. I absolutely hate it,” Green said on this week’s episode of The Draymond Green Show before adding, “It’s the best thing ever created.

If you look at the play-in and what it’s done for basketball, it’s the best thing ever created.”

The Warriors finished 10th in the Western Conference with a 46-36 record.

They will have to get past the ninth-seeded Sacramento Kings on Tuesday before facing the loser of the No. 7-8 matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers for the opportunity to earn the No. 8 seed.

Green went on to explain that he feels the play-in tournament has improved the competition level in the NBA, especially near the end of the regular season.

“Since the NBA has added the play-in, it’s taken the last month and a half of the season to a totally different level. Like, totally different,” he said.

“So, I hate the play-in. I especially hate being the 10 seed.

But as much as I hate it, as a basketball player, as a basketball fan, this play-in is nuts, and you gotta love it.”
