Forsythe, 6-foot-8, 307 pounds, was a sixth-round draft pick by the Seattle Seahawks in 2021. He played in 53 games with 14 starts over four seasons with Seattle. In 2024, he started five games and played 413 snaps at right tackle.

Forsythe, 27, also has experience at left tackle. For his career with the Seahawks, he played 925 snaps at right tackle and 215 at left tackle.

The Giants also signed swing tackle James Hudson III this week as they continue to try to fortify their offensive line depth.

It is a bit curious that the Giants would add another swing tackle. Perhaps this signals that Evan Neal will be moved inside. Perhaps even that Jermaine Eluemunor could be moved to right guard if the Giants can’t find a better alternative, with Forsythe and Hudson competing for the right tackle role.

So who will be the next New York Giants quarterback? The franchise is quickly approaching to the answer.

At 4:00 p.m. ET Wednesday, the Jets are expected to designate Aaron Rodgers as a Post-June 1st release, making the four-time MVP quarterback able to sign elsewhere immediately.

The Giants are expected to be in the mix along with the Pittsburgh Steelers and a decision could come at any moment. Per insider Connor Hughes, “Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback the Giants want. They’re waiting to find out if he wants them.”
