SAD NEWS: Tennessee Volunteers announced that Nico Iamaleava is leaving immediately after facing…

The Tennessee Volunteers lost another rostered player to the NFL Draft earlier this weekend.

Offensive lineman Jeremiah Crawford, who played in 29 games with the Vols and started 13, declared for the draft.

Tennessee still has a strong room on paper heading into next season, but losing Crawford is a blow to their depth.

White may be one of the most underrated players in the SEC.

Tennessee fans appreciate the Alabama native, but it seems like he doesn’t receive nearly enough attention outside of the Volunteer state.

The former three-star recruit had a tremendous sophomore season in 2023, catching 67 passes for 803 yards and two touchdowns, nearly doubling his production from his true freshman season.

With Nico Iamaleava

set to take over at quarterback for the Vols in 2024, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see White surpass 1,000 receiving yards in his junior season.

By the way, Tennessee will take on the two fastest players in the SEC (per 247Sports) in 2024. Kentucky wide receiver Barion Brown is at No. 1 on their list while Arkansas wide receiver Jordan Anthony is at No. 2.

The Vols dropped to number six in both the AP and coaches Top 25 polls that were released on Monday.

Tennessee dropped from five to six, with Kansas jumping over both the Vols and Houston – who ended up at #5 – up to the #4 spot.

The Jayhawks handled the Cougars 78-65 in Lawrence on Saturday afternoon.

As such, it’s hard to argue with the result.  Kansas defeated the Vols 69-60 in the Maui Invitational back on November 22 while the Cougars have a 19-3 overall record with a 6-3 record in Quad 1 games.
