HE MAY NOT PLAY AGAIN: He was ruled out due to the….

And he is expected to play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Jefferson, 24, has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring in Week 5, missing the next seven games.

But Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell doesn’t intend on putting a minute restriction on the All-Pro wideout upon his return.

“I don’t see any restrictions as far as his ability to go out there and function and play,” O’Connell said on Friday.

“He feels great. Had a great week of preparation. We’ll take a look as far as the volume of snaps.

“I mean, this is a guy that, since I’ve been here, has been pretty hard to keep off the field.”

Earlier this week, Jefferson said he couldn’t wait to get out on the field again.

“I feel pretty good,” he said after practice on Thursday.

“I’m excited to be back on the field, to be playing with this team, and to finally just be active on that field.

“So I’m excited about that and excited to see what we can do on that field.”

Jefferson logged 571 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 36 catches in his first five outings during the 2023 NFL season.

His comeback will be invaluable for Minnesota ahead of the final stretch of the regular season.

The Vikings entered Week 14 with a 6-6 record, ranking second behind the Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

Minny still had about a 50% chance to make the playoffs ahead of the matchup with the Raiders.
